So I have conteplated time and time again to jump on the blog bandwagon and as you can see I am riding high! For the most part I am a private person and I cherish special moments behind closed doors. Always lurking is side of me who loves to express my emotions but generally the shy side always wins. Yesterday was Sunday and like every sunday I got to sleep in until about 9 a.m. I throughly enjoy sundays because my husband is home in bed with me of the morning. (most of you know he works third shift) Most of the time he is up before I am but that is because I allow myself to enjoy sleep and I know he is savoring some special alone time to think and play his music.
August 29, 2010 marked a special day in my book...It was my nephew Colton's 4th birthday! It was pirate theme and I must say the party was a success! God has blessed me with great family I love them ALL dearly.
Everyone was singing Happy Birthday to Colton...He is a precious little boy! His Auntie loves him so much!
Although drama seems to creep in and out of our life we should all realize just how blessed we are and cherish our moments together. Life is to short to take advantage of those you love. In a blink of an eye it can be over and what is left are the thoughts of others and memories that are long gone. This life we are leading is only temporary. All the material things, all the pretty little things you think you have to have will mean nothing when this life is done. Each person should search deep within themselves and find their own creative tune and tone. If you do just that you won't have to worry about bragging and mimicing others you will radiate and shine with your own talents. Like I previously stated this is temporary, no need to run others down and when your gone does anyone really care if your the best or not?!? This blog is not towards anyone just a simple observation of everyone who is focused on others who did what, when, where, and why, Who cares you have your own life to live.
Just want to say I am thankful for all the blessings in my life. I have to say I have had some great people walk into my life.
Very true! (I am the first comment YAY) I agree whole-heartedly. I admit I can be immature at times and I can be a little quick to speak buy my actions are always monitored and I have some great people who constructively point them out. I appreciate that. And I missed Colton's birthday and it broke my heart to pieces! I'm sure he had a wonderful time regardless :-) Aunt Nat and Uncle Jon and cousin Dill loves him to pieces..! Have a good week
ReplyDeleteI dont know if my commented got deleted. but I agree too people need to learn to change and be their true self. I've known so many fakes but deleted them in my life. its ok to show yourself and express yourself in your own way :-) I've found myself more and more and found who i dont want to be like and when people do that they find true happiness that doesn't depends on people and what they say. glad you made it to the party it was a success and a great day.
